This overlook certainly isn’t for the faint of heart or those with a fear of heights. If you can muster the courage to climb the tower however, you’re rewarded with sweeping views of the forested Ohio countryside in virtually every direction. Also in Mohican State Park is the Gorge Overlook, which takes in the 300-foot deep Clear Fork Gorge from its southern rim. From the fire tower you can take the Hog Hollow Trail down to a scenic wooden covered bridge.
