Getting to the Castalia Quarry Overlook
Begin on the Quarry Rim Trail, taking it in a clockwise direction. The trail will climb to the rim of the quarry, passing trail junctions with the Winding Woods Trail twice. The overlook deck is roughly .4 miles from the trailhead.

Perched atop the abandoned Castalia Quarry within the Castalia Quarry Reserve, this overlook deck gives expansive views of the surrounding quarry, forested landscape, and Lake Erie in the distance. It is quite uncommon to find such a commanding view so far west in Ohio, so this is a very noteworthy and must-see location.
