Address: Breakneck Bridge Road, Portersville, PA
Although it’s not the most recognizable landmark in McConnell’s Mill State Park, Cleland Rock is so incredible no visit to the park is complete without stopping at the overlook. Cleland Rock sits atop the rim of the Slippery Rock Creek Gorge, towering over 400 feet above the creek. The view is a little narrow and isn’t great for panoramic shots but don’t let that dissuade you from checking it out. What you can see from the vista is as good as any view in Western Pennsylvania or Ohio.
